Song dynasty is very prosperous in Chinese history, especially in the economic, political and cultural aspects.During this period, there spring up numerous poets and literary men. For instance, Su Shi, Su zhe, Ouyang Xiu, Yucheng Wang, Tingjian Huang, Zhongyan Fan and so on. They also have another identity at the same time, demoted official.Although they were demoted for different reasons, but there living has resemblances after they were banished.These demoted officials were facing predicaments in financial condition and accommodation aspect before they reach the exiled place.The cruel political environment made these officials transferred their depression into literary creation, which was the only way to relieve their feeling.On the other hand, from the sense of a literary intelligentsia’s responsibility at Song dynasty, even if they were unauthorized and powerless at their position in exiled place, these demoted officials still contribute a lot of to local development, especially in the cultural, educational and people’s livelihood aspects. It is not only promoted and reinforced the cultural communication between north and south, but also brought instrumental efforts to the dissemination of Central Plain Culture and advanced production technology.
