Research On Drama Narrative Theories Of Wang Jide’s "QU LV"

Wang Jide has a very unique and important significance in the Ming Dynasty as well as the Chinese classical drama theory. His monograph "QU LV" is the first systematic monograph of traditional drama theory in China. "Drama theory" has a detailed categories.all encompassing, self-contained. It also covers all aspects of drama and drama criticism, involved in the development of history, drama writing, drama style, drama genre, style of his works, rhetoric, narrative rhythm and so on. Though it has more emphasis on the rhythm, melody and lyric drama in Wang.Jide’s theoretical system, it still involves many important aspects of Chinese narrative theory. It mainly displays in the theory of fiction&real, the theory of structure, the theory of the story plot, the theory of language.The introduction part introduces the current state of drama theory research, such as the development process and the connotation of definition. On the basis of this, we introduce the current research status and the motivation and significance of the research of Wang Jide "s narrative theory.The first chapter mainly introduces Wang Jide’s life and his writings. Wang Jide was born in a scholarly family, interested in drama since his childhood, and fight for a lifetime. He had a wide range of friends and made a large number of celebrities, such as Xu Wei, Shen Jing, Tang Xianzu and so on. This made a very important influence on the improvement of his artistic accomplishment, aesthetic taste and character theory. Wang Jide wrote many works in his life. His works almost covered the drama related fields, such as legend and drama, compilation, collation and annotation and theoretical monographs and other types. Among them, "QU LV" represents the highest achievement of his.The second chapter focuses on writing environment, writing process, version, main content, theoretical system construction, theoretical value and practical significance of "QU LV’.It is Wang Jide’s talent, hard work and the theory of thriving environment in Ming Dynasty, which had a very close relationship with the book’s written. It can be said that Wang Jide’s harvest in fact is a crystallization of the collective wisdom of the whole Ming dynasty in this area.The third chapter is the key point in this paper. It mainly analyzes the interpretation of the drama narrative theory in "QU LV". First, Wang Jide deeply expounds the relationship of "real" and "fiction" of the art methodology of traditional drama, and made his own unique judgment——pay attention to real when derive and pay attention to fiction when use, and then clear about the drama narrative fiction features. Second, from the perspective of form, Wang Jide put forward drama narrative structure should focus on the overall beauty. Third, in the content level, Wang Jide thought drama plot needs ups and downs as well as fascinating. He also put forward specific proposals on how to achieve this goal:First, streamline basic material from life. Though discussion, on the theory of narrative drama was not where he focused on,but it filled a blank theory at that time and constructed a prototype system of Classical drama narrative theory. What’s more, it gave the newcomers such as Li Yu with great inspiration and make an unique contribution to improve the system of classical drama narrative theory from the aspects the direct and indirect.
