Yu Yan is the distinguished Yi-ologist Learning specialist and Taoism scholar from the late Song Dynasty to the early Yuan Dynasty. His thoughts experience firstly Confucianism and secondly Taoism, and especially combines Yi-ology learning and Dan Tao, congesting Confucianism and Taoism to obtain a profound influence. Yu Yan’s Confucianism and Yi-ology Learning thoughts are based on the past oracles who are from the successive dynasties, selecting the symbol Yi-ology Learning from Han Dynasty, assembling the reasons from Cheng and Zhu’s Yi-ology. Also, he brings together all the knowledge above and comprehends them thoroughly, discarding the dross and keeping the finer part, and providing the interpretation. He merges the main symbols and reasons into one in order to become his Confucianism and Yi-ology Learning thoughts. What’s more, his Tao is majorly rooted from Wei Boyang’s Can Tong Qi, Han Dynasty, and Shao Zi’s Xian Tian Map, which assist Yu Yan with expounding the secret of Dan Tao, conversely, managing to getting his Yi-ology Learning. Confucianism and Taoism are prone to combined with one, proposing "Yi-ology Learning on one’s body" to become Dan Tao’s Yi-ology Learning. This thesis interprets Yu Yan’s Yi-ology Learning thought from the angle of the combination between Confucianism and Taoism. He leads Tiandao, Yifu, and Dan Tao’s category into his thought to analyze the logic procedure of Yu Yan’s combination of Confucianism and Taoism, i.e."Tiandao" is the radical root, and Yifu is the description of "Tiandao" on philosophy; Dan Tao is the practice of "Tiandao" while doing the work. The logic procedure is, i.e. to conclude the rule of Yi-ology Tao from the natural law system, which turns to human bodies to be realized to Dan Tao. Therefore, we establish Yu Yan’s rule as double-body theory, i.e. the natural law system is the body, and Yifu is the way, to become Xiangshu Yi-ology。There are few rules of the combination between Yili Yi-ology and Dan Tao, so we can omit them. The body is Yifu, and the way is Dan Tao to accomplish Dan Tao Yi-ology---that is the analysis of this thesis. In the form, Yu Yan’s Yi-ology Learning thought is Confucianism and Taoism; in nature, that is the ethical philosophy of Confucianism and the body practice of Tao under the natural law system, which take the advantage of Yifu and Dan Tao. In addition, logically, the inner relation of the three is:the natural law system pushes Yifu, and Yifu pushes Dan Tao. This relation is the innermost soul of Yu Yan’s Yi-ology Learning thought. Only after we control this relation can we comprehend the core characteristic of the combination between Confucianism and Taoism completely. The natural law system is the natural outlook of "Xiangshu Yi-ology", under the point of Yifu, and the thesis have analyzed Yu Yan’s "Guaxiang", "Guati",and "Yaoxiang" theory, and the perspectives of "Hutu","Luoshu" and "Yishu", interpreting the natural connotation of Xiangshu Yi-ology。These thoughts will play a very significant role to Yu Yan’s combination between Confucianism and Taoism in the future. Naturally, without these basic thought of "Xiangshu Yi-ology", it is difficult to access into Dan Tao Yi-ology。When Yifu is pushed into Dan Tao, it will become Dan Tao Yi-ology。This thesis approaches into the topic from the inner relationship among the natural law system, Yifu and Dan Tao, and considers the mutual influence of the three as the rule, to analyze Yu Yan’s Dan Tao Yi-ology。Dan Tao Yi-ology is the final direction of Yu Yan’s thoughts, and it also means the combination between Confucianism and Taoism is achieved. Later, the unity of opposites among the natural law system, Yifuand Dan Tao will be totally presented in Dan Tao Yi-ology。In conclusion, Yu Yan’s Yi-ology Learning refers to the natural law to access into Yi-ology Tao of Confucianism, and quotes Yi-ology Tao into Dan Tao practice. His thoughts are compatible and far-reaching, absorbing the past and the present. He puts forwards lots of constructive propositions of Yi-ology Learning. Therefore, his thoughts not only have created a separate school in Yi-ology Learning history, but also have established his own style in Tao history.
