Beginning in 1911, Mongolia launched the independent (autonomous) movement. At that time, Mongolia regardless of economic or military strength is backward, it is difficult to establish a nation. However, by 1945, China recognized Mongolia’s independence. In this process, the Soviet Union’s foreign policy of Mongolia played a decisive role. The relationship between the Soviet Union and Mongolia’s from simple to complex, from single to comprehensive, the reason is not just for the Soviet national interests, but also outside Mongolia itself can not be divorced from the country assistance. This paper is divided into three parts:the first part discusses the relationship between Mongolia and the Soviet Union early independence, the establishment of this relationship and the princes of Mongolia. The second part discusses the relationship between the Soviet and Mongolian war during World War II, discusses the outer Mongolia independence from the Soviet Union and Mongolia’s economic, political, and military cooperation. The third part of the analysis to further strengthen the significance of the Soviet and Mongolian relations after the second world war.
