Xiaohongcheng sites is the important units of culture relics under the national protection. Xiaohongcheng sites include Xiaohongcheng, Dongxiaocheng,Jijibao and Nanwa four parts, and Xiaohongcheng is Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor in Yuan dynasty. Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor is one of a few existing royal buildings in Yuan dynasty. Based on the archaeological investigation of Xiaohongcheng sites and data obtained by testing dig, the thesis knows the scale, the shape and the structure of Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor and Dongxiaocheng, and the property of Jijibao and Nanwa around Xiaohongcheng sites. There are some colored glaze with yellow and green structures, white marble of dragon head, eaves tiles of beast-face vein and plenty of tiles in the relics. They highlight royal buildings’ character of Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor.There are two pavilions, namely east pavilion and west pavilion, on the southeast and southwest in Xanadu. The west pavilion is Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor. Two pavilions whose purpose is for the Mongolian royal hunting and fishing list on both sides in Xanadu. East pavilion is the last line of defense in the southeast of Xanadu. Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor is the only route by which Mongol emperor inspects Xanadu and Khanbaliq. East pavilion’s scale and structure are closed to Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor, but its function is a little single and less than Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor in importance.The traffic is very developed in Yuan dynasty. There have been four post roads between Xanadu and Khanbaliq. Three of them must pass Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor. And it is the only route by which Mongol emperor inspects Xanadu and Khanbaliq and officials, businessmen and messengers come from Khanbaliq to northern district.Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor is located in the heart of Jinlianchuan. From Liao and Jin dynasty, Jinlianchuan is the summer resort for royal household. In Yuan dynasty, Kubilai recharged his batteries there and set up Chinese globeflower sichuan shogun which play an important role in Big yuan prosperous time. As the land of dragon rising of Kubilai, Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor was built on the Chinese globeflower sichuan grassland. Royal Pavilion site of Tchagannor was seen as the continuance of Chinese globeflower sichuan shogun.
