Analysis Of Run-On Sentence Interpretation In Tech Text

This paper is a simulative interpretation practice report with the MI Television 2 Product Launch in 2014 as a simultaneous interpretation object. The main research direction of this text is the Chinese-English interpretation of the run-on sentences in the tech-text. Under the guide of the Sense-based Theory, the author discussed the suitable interpretation methods when the run-on sentences are interpreted into English. The aim is to give more typical English expressions. This thesis focuses on the interpretation of the run-on sentences in the tech-text, and the research direction is very concrete, which is benefit to for author to have a profound discussion about the practice. Meanwhile, the interpretation practice is practical. The product launch interpretation is very common in the real life. This fact enhances the utility of the practice text research.Thus, through the interpretation practice, the author tries digging the specific methods in interpretation practice and analyzing the efficiency and practicability of these methods. They include literal interpretation, word order adjustment, sentence division, method of adding and omitting, fuzzy expression and the logical manufacturing. The author hopes it can bring the enlightenment to the following interpretation researches.
