Since about the Ming Dynasty, China’s four famous Buddhist mountains produced that it is Wutai Mountain, Emei Mountain,Jiuhua Mountain, and Mount Putuo. They worship Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Ksitigarbha and Goddess of Mercy. Four famous mountains from Indian Buddhist analogy. They think Jiuhua motntain is earth, Emei Mountain is fire, Wutai mountain is wind, and Putuo Mountain is water.special respectively, Fugen, in possession of four and Guanyin Bodhisattva. Four famous analogy generation and people of Indian Buddhism in the four great relationship that is to Jiuhua, Emei fire, five is the wind, Putuo is water.Produces four famous Chinese people typically reflects the immense respect for the Buddha is worshiped with a strong folk flavor and civil needs. Buddha’s four mountains and produce, but also illustrates the typical need of Buddhism in China, indicating that the inclusion of Chinese culture to foreign culture.Since the self-produced four famous Chinese Buddhism, has come a long course of development, each accumulated rich Buddhist tradition and tourism resources. Differences between the four famous Buddhist tourism and learn from each other, in today’s era of more value, but also to create conditions for exchange.In this paper, Putuo Mountain Buddhist tourism center, explained the similarities and differences of the four Buddhist mountains, which provide some lessons for Putuo Mountain Buddhist tourism.
