In order to cultivate high-level talents with international perspectives and competitiveness, full-English teaching has been practiced to graduate education at many universities. university Z responded the call of ministry of education about strengthen higher education undergraduate teaching work and improve teaching quality, carried out full-English teaching at graduate level for the first time. University Z constructed 10 full-English teaching of school level in 2013 and became the first university with full-English teaching in Henan province. However, through the investigation of full-English teaching to non-English major graduate at university Z, full-English teaching still has many problems. Firstly, students have different level of proficiency in English and lack of interest. Secondly, full-English teachers have different level of speaking skills and their teaching methods are monotonous, so the teaching effect is barely satisfactory. Thirdly, the design of curriculum is unreasonable. Fourthly, the English textbooks are expensive and hard to read. In order to solve these problems, university Z should improve full-English teaching from 5 aspects. Firstly, constructing relevant system. Secondly, students should improve their study initiative. Thirdly, strengthening the construction of teacher team. For example, introduce overseas talents, strengthen the teachers’ training, update the teaching content, enrich teaching methods. Fourthly, perfecting the full-English curriculum designing. Finally, teaching with multi-media projector and blackboard writing.The innovation of this study is the using of the method of substantial evidence research, and choosing university Z as an example of case study and interacting with the participants of full-English teaching.
