For the authors, the binding design of their works hasbecome a very important promotion; and for the readers, with the development ofappreciation of modern science and technology (new media) impact, when they needbooks, in addition to the work itself, they also pay more attention to the design of booksgrade level.From "the most beautiful book in the world" to the Mo Yan literature award,more and more "Chinese taste" go to the world, which are known, understood, acceptedby the people. It is a hard road full of twists and turns. In this way, we should not onlydepend on the national culture, but also have the view of the whole world, in line withthe international standard. We have been trying to find the problem and solutions.This paper studies the current situation and illustration design, clarify the futurebook design is the development of combining the globalization and nationalization. Thebook is based on the thought of lirerature of Chinese award winners and Mo Yan in"China’s most beautiful book in the world", The paper is to find the problems andshortcomings of Shaanxi literature design:: lack regional design and illustration. Forfurther research on the subject, it gives the solving meathods based on the literature forpersonal Jia Pingwa,through the study of China northwest folk art (Huxian peasantpaintings) elements, and its application in book design from Jia Pingwa’s literary works,coloring method, the main transport peasant paintings user county character modelingtechniques and composition form of books illustration, design and application of illustration element of the cover, back cover, to make it more visual aesthetic feelingand regional.
