| The source text of this translation project, Richard Dawkins The Magic of Reality, waswritten for teenagers. The first two chapters are chosen to be translated. This report involvesfour parts, i.e., project description, task process, case study, and conclusion. The first chapterdescribes the process and significance of selecting. The second chapter summarizes the wholetranslation process on the aspect of translation task and five stages. As the third chapter,typical words and sentences are excerpted to explain the obstacles as well as translationmethods. At the end of the report, the fourth chapter concludes the residual problems in thewhole translation project and the translation revelation. This paper aims to raise readinginterest of teenagers, and guide teenagers attach importance to knowledge accumulationbeyond the classroom, which benefits all-round development. |
