A Research On The Influence Of The Diamond-sutra To Zen Ideology

Literature analysis and comparison analysis were used to clear up history anddevelopment of both Diamond sutra and Zen ideology. Moreover, the differencesof Diamond sutra and Zen were compared, and Diamond sutra’s impact to Zenwas analyzed too. Firstly，main conceptions and ideologies in Diamond sutrawere stated. Then, forming, inheritance, and main ideas of Zen were cleared up,along with the indigenous innovation and practical value of Zen. Secondly，thoughts of Zen inherited from Diamond sutra were analyzed in detail，such as"find one’s true self"，"enlightenment of Buddhata"，practical conception of "3non-attachment"，etc.. And Zen’s reform to Buddhist thoughts and ways ofpractice were declared too，such as "true self and enlightenment "，“insightBuddha”，" concentration and so on to learn"，etc.. In addition，Zenincorporated ideologically the essence of Confucianism，Buddhism，and Daoism.Zen also created way of practice the farmers in Zen. Finally，thought of Diamondsutra and Zen were compared.
