"Miaowu": The Zhongdao Aesthetics Of Buddhism

China is a country that is full of poetry. There were a lot of theories in bothpoetry-writing and poetry-aestheticing and the category of “Miaowu” should be paidattention to. There are many researchers in poetics theory of “Miaowu”, the results ofstudying “Miaowu” from Buddhism text are few. Besides, they did not have a deepstudy on it, which did not explain the “Miaowu” vevy well. This article is just studythe “Miaowu” from the Buddha text.“Miaowu” is to find the Buddha Nature inhabiting in your nature. It is a supremerealization of truth. There is difference between general enlightment and Miaowu. Tofind the Miaowu is to use the Zhongdao of Buddha and “Kong, Jia and Zhong”dexterously. It is a Zhongdao aesthetics and dialectic of art in literature. So it can besaid that Miaowu is to use the Zhongdao of Buddha very neatly and Miaowu is torealize the highest significance of Zhongdao.As a Zhongdao aesthetics, Miaowu has two representations: the first one is topromote the writers to overstep the suffering of life. The second one is the nspirationthat Miaowu gives to the writers’ creating. Specificly, the influence that Miaowu givesto the writers is the writers use the Miaowu when they are oversteping the suffering,as a result, they can reach a free state that has no stubborn and stagnancy at all. Theinfluence that Miaowu gives to the creating is the moment that the subject is trying tohold the relationship between Truth and Virginity and between Language andSignificance dexterously, so they can get a aesthetic state that are wordless.It has two angles and five chapters of this article to analyse Miaowu. The twoangles are Subject theory and writing theory. The Introdution explains the purpose andmeaning of the article, the basis of the topic and the research status of “Miaowu”. Theother six chapters expound five pairs of antithetic concepts: Existance-Nihility,Life-Death, Constancy-Inconstancy, Truth-Virginity, Language-Significance. Thosealso discrible the specific performance of “Miaowu” when it eradicate those antithetic concepts.The first three chapters expands around subject theory, it forcus on the attitude ofExistance-Nihility, Life-Death and Constancy-Inconstancy that the writers had. Andthe attitude was having none of these. It also talks about the creating of the writersinfluenced by this attitude. The last two chapters analyse the opinion and theexperience of aesthetics of the ancient writers who followed the guidance of Miaowu.And the two chapters inquire these questions from the angle of creating theory.
