With the gradually accelerate the pace of construction of socialist modernization, thecurrent mode of self-Access research became a hot issue in education, training collegestudents around the world regarded as a self-Access ability of modern education is animportant goal of Higher education. With the transformation of the market economyphilosophy of teaching, self-Access has become a major guiding principle of modernteaching reform, under the guidance of the concept of self-Access education, thetraditional mode of teaching objectives can not be completed under the new teachingideas.The trend of modern education reform makes major English teaching mode ofhigher vocational colleges began to face a new situation. But the practice of publicvocational colleges English class in the new situation are still many problems unresolved.English Teaching in Higher Vocational Education is still one of the major research inuniversity are now teaching English. Base on this background, the author first discussedand comb self-teaching theory, then starting from the practice, detailed analysis of thestrengths and weaknesses of the existing vocational colleges various modes of publicEnglish, the premise of the existence of problems in the discovery of these patterns, learnthe advantages of each integrated teaching model proposes. Then the author introducedthe new concept of self-learning mode to adapt the requirements to promote theadvantages of vocational education carried out in English and other aspects.This study used a questionnaire, interview surveys, literature and comparativeanalysis and other research methods, some of the current status mastered EnglishTeaching in Higher Vocational Education and its analysis. Based on the combination ofself-learning theory, constructivist theory, the author constructed a teaching modelsuitable for independent learning theory public vocational colleges under English classimplementation. This teaching model focuses on independent learning model ofoperational processes. This operation changes the process of teacher-centered "chalk andtalk" and to teaching as the center of "nerd" teaching model, to some extent changed thestudents in vocational colleges for English learning attitude, vocational students’ Englishscores have been significantly improved. Under the theory of self-learning of English teaching model with a strong practical, to improve the quality of teaching, vocationalstudents to meet the individual needs of groups of English Teaching in Higher VocationalEducation has a certain reference.
