Jiangzhou drum culture arising from the birthplace of Chinese civilization in the Yellow River basin. It is come from in a certain geographical and economic conditions. With the development of economy globalization and modernization process, great changes have taken place in the ecological environment of human intangible cultural heritage. With farming culture developed, Jiangzhou drum culture is facing many problems and challenges. The protection work of Jiangzhou drum of cultural heritage still exist inheritance problem, people lack the awareness of protection, the lack of legal system, financial capital investment problems. In recent years, the party and the state want to promote the development and prosperity of socialist culture and to promote the Chinese traditional culture. It makes us have to do more things to put forward higher requirements. For the national traditional culture,it is an important part to inheritance and development of Jiangzhou drum culture. The unique nature of the intangible cultural heritage is "living". Therefore, in this paper, according to the characteristics of the intangible cultural heritage, in Jiangzhou drum culture as an example, stating mainly problems and a series of measures to solve these problems. It is a constructive attempt to develop intangible cultural heritage of China, meet the cultural needs of the people, enhance Shanxi cultural soft strength, play import role in the social and economic development.
