Cambodia locates at the center of the Southeast Asia, it has always kept goodrelationship with China since a long time ago.At present, along with the global economicand global “Hot Chinese Studying”, more and more people in Cambodia choose Chineseas a second language. But the researches in connection with comparison between Chineseand Cambodian are still very poor. We are trying to contrast the classifiers betweenChineseand Cambodian from different aspects, such as the classification of classifiers, thegrammatical function of classifiers, the semantic and the pragmatic of classifiers.According to the results of analyzing we can foreseen the common errors that CambodianstudyChinese.ThenweproposetherelevantsuggestionsforChineseclassifiersteaching.Thearticleismadefromfourparts.Thefirstpartistheintroduction.Weintroducetherelevant researches about the Chinese and Cambodian classifiers and comparisonsbetween Chinese and other languages, we also introduce the research methods and thecreations of thisarticle.Thesecond part is “Comparison betweenChinese and Cambodianclassifiers”, including the chapter one, chapter two and chapter three of this article, wecontrast and analyze the classifiers between Chinese and Cambodian from theclassification of classifiers, the grammatical function of classifiers, the semantic and thepragmatic of classifiers. The third part is the proposal, which is the chapter four of thisarticle, we propose the relevant suggestions of different error types, such as neglecting,wrong order, error plusing and error replacement. The fouth part is the epilogue, weemphasizethecreationsofthisarticleandpointtheinsufficientofthisarticle.
