Positive Acceptance Interviewing:the Research On Localizing Motivational Interviewing

According to the development of economy and society, the level of health is raising. The persons are not only care about the body health, also their mental health and adapting. However, the problems come after the speedy raise of economy. Dysfunctions and chronics are more than ever, and tend to grow.Motivational interviewing is the way could solve the problems, which emerged in1980s. It has a very perfect efficacy on changing addictive behaviors, adherence, life style et al in diverse environment. Motivational interviewing get its glory because its short-session efficacy, practicality, and widely applicability. If we want to use this intervention mold, localization would be necessary.Our research group has put our eyes on localizing motivational interviewing for a long time, and has finished some cultural researches to attempt to localize motivational interviewing. With the cultural psychology researches accumulating, we raise a Chinese health principle: comprehending and introspecting, then reacting moderately, pursuing the harmonious reality, accepting positively and striving. This study summarized the combination of motivational interviewing and localized theory. Expression the process and achievement of localization, and raising the theoretical system of Chinese motivational interviewing.This study is stand on the shoulder of past, make the motivational interviewing be our localization interviewing:positive acceptance interviewing. We kept the main structure of motivational interviewing, and added the Chinese health principle into by literature. Then we have the system of Chinese motivational interviewing. Using a case study to test the Chinese motivational interviewing efficacy. At last, we give some possible future directions of Chinese motivational interviewing and the think in this theory.
