The1910Census was the first decennial census after the founding of the Census Bureau, highly specialized than any previous decennial census, the questions in those questionnaires werebased on that period and had its pertinence to whom those were questioned. The Abstract of the1910Census reflected the development of American’s Industry, Agriculture, Population,Urbanization, Immigration and other aspects during1900-1910. It was taken years to made by theCensus Bureau, it also had many political metaphors in those sheets and numerals. The thesis triedto analyze the1910Census in American history and World history during the end of the19thcentury and the beginning of the20thcentury; it also tried to show the nature of Americanmonopoly capitalism and circumstances of American social transformation. The paper is composed of three chapters; chapter1applies methods of narrative history topractice. The first part of chapter1deals with history origins and history evolutions of theAmerican decennials, it is going to explore the link of the1910Census and the whole Americandecennials. The second part of chapter1analyses the effects that were caused by the CensusBureau in the1910Census, which were also connected with some primitive acts. The third part ofchapter1discusses contents of questionnaires of1910Census; it is prepared for the analysis of thenext chapter.Chapter2uses western political theories and principles of Marxism economic views. In thefirst part of chapter2I want to explain the background of the1910Census, which was connectedto American history and World history during the end of the19thcentury and the beginning of the20thcentury. The conclusion is that American monopoly capitalism grew faster in the period. Thesecond part and the third part of chapter2use principles of Marxism economic views to analyzethose sheets and numbers in The Abstract of the1910Census, especially the Volume of Industryand the Volume of Agriculture. It is made to prove the conclusion of the first part.Chapter3uses ideas of Social history to analyze the Volume of Population in The Abstract ofthe1910Census, especially the aspects of Population, Urbanization, Immigration and Raceproblems; it also quotes other scholars ideas about those problems. I have got another conclusion:the American social transformation was affected by the fast population grow and waves ofImmigration, the development of the Metropolitans and westwards of the so called “PopulationCenter”, the “WASP features” of the population structure. Chapter3echoes the conclusion ofchapter2, it also emphasizes social meanings of the1910Census from a microcosmic view anddeals with the background of American history and World history from a macroscopical view.
