China is the hometown of tea. In China, tea is not only with a long history and deep accumulation, andit was found and the use has several one thousand years of history. China is the earliest discovered tea andits purpose, it not only was the first country to plant tea, and it is the earliest countries with tea drinkingcustoms, and gradually to develop tea into a kind of national culture. Tea gradually become peoplenecessities of life need, has an important role in people’s life. Human intelligence is regrettable, the longhistory, tea has experienced from medicinal to drink, from the development for a wide variety of steaminggreen tea loose tea, from tea to tea long process, this process embodies the people’s wisdom andintelligence. With the progress and development of science and technology, new tea: it is not only is a kindof drug, has now developed into a planting and processing, trade and culture, scientific research as one ofthe tea industry, not only greatly enriched people’s material and cultural life, and provides support to carryforward the traditional Chinese tea culture. Rapid development of market economy so as to give the tea evengreater vitality, therefore, branding and internationalization direction will be the main developmentdirection of tea packaging, this development will inevitably need to follow "adhere to the traditional teaculture as the soul, the brand packaging as the strategy, conform to the modern aesthetic standard,reasonable using the modern technique of expression to make tea culture into packaging design" the designtechnique and the basic law. Tea packaging that appeared on the market today has become an important partof tea culture in China, they not only appearance beautiful, diverse, but also creative and profound culturalconnotation, elegant cultural taste. With the continuous development of society, the tea has its own cultureincreasingly be discover and use, and gradually develop into a kind of spirit materialized products, and withthe full of aesthetic value and historical value of the dual cultural value. The prosperity and development oftea culture, promote the rise of the sale of tea and tea, and tea sales packaging has been further improvedand improve. Central China tea culture has a long history, unique charm, but the tongbai tea industry and animportant part of tea culture, tea culture is the central plains. In this paper, based on the research of the tea packing design and carries on the research in tongbai tea packaging, for example, to better enhance thevalue of the tea itself and cultural taste, and use of the excellent Chinese traditional culture in modern teapackaging design, to design a unique tea packaging with Chinese characteristics.First of all, this article first chapter is analysis of the status quo of tea packaging design. From theaspects of tea culture, vision and design concept for the tea packing design method to make analysis andreview. Through the analysis of modern tea packaging design research to the perspective of its tea cultureand the traditional culture of our country, and the currently on the market of tea packaging has a morecomprehensive and deeper understanding.
