At the beginning of the twentieth Century, because the conflict betweenChinese and Western culture, the aggression of Christian cultural in Chinese and thediscussion about religion in The New Culture Movement and other reasons, thesentiment of anti religious is rising. At the same time, this period of time is the goldenperiod of the development of Christianity in Chinese, Christian missionary and othersocial undertakings have made great development in this time, which has aroused theChinese people’s vigilance to the Christianity. In1921June, World Student ChristianFederation decided held the Eleventh Congress in Beijing Qinghua school in April4,1922, which became the fuse of The non Christian Movement, the long-awaited antireligious emotion burst out.The non Christian Movement expanded large-scale throughout the whole countryIn1922February,Hunan province has become one of the central provinces of themovement, whether around the campus upheaval, propaganda of non Christian, or thescale, intensity of the movement,which had a great influence on the nationalmovement. Hunan Students Federation, The non Christian Union, anti culturalinvasion union and other organization engaged in the movement actively under theleadership of The Communist Party of Chinese, and plays an important role in themovement, and make the movement big size.Although there are some defects in the movement, but it has accelerated thepace of construction of the Chinese "indigenization" church, promoted thedevelopment of the National revolutionary movement, and be propitious to get theeducation sovereignty of China back, produced far-reaching historical significance.
