Song Yu was born in Song during323BC-318years. Afterwards, hewas forced to live in exile abroad by king of Yan and his partisan. And he isthe most outstanding prose writers after Qu Yuan. He actively absorbed the essence ofliterature about the book of songs and the rhymed prose of Zhuzi and QuYuan. He created a new situation that the songs of Fu style literature. Hefurther expanded the field of literary expression and the literary precedent ofthe autumn, landscape, female, and entertainment, which produce afar-reaching impact on later literature.However, because of the lost their works, as well as the suspected causeof ancient ideological trend influence. Academia appeared the injusticeresearch trends with in praise of Qu Yuan and constraining in a long period oftime. Until after the twentieth Century80’s, Song Yu was caught the attentionof the academic circles again. The breakthrough of the new archaeologicalwas discovered. Although in recent years the study of Song Yu hadachieved lots of results. There are still many shortcomings and problemworthy of further discussion.In this paper, it is the reference to the research on the basis of researchachievements about Song Yu`s literary forms. It studied on Song Yu and hispoetry and regarded the eleven Song Yu’s academic circles as the concreteresearch object by using within the card and contrastive analysis.The full text is divided into five parts that are introduction, the life,thought and personality of Song Yu, Song Yu’s literary value and its influenceon later, and the conclusion.The introduction parts overview the academic study of Song Yu and hispoetry. And the same time, to specify the topics of academic significance andmethod of solving the problem.The second part investigate Song Yu’s life experiences, state and year of birth. The traditional concept of academic claims that Song Yu was born inthe late Warring States Chu, then he was who demoted by king of Chu. Withtaking it amiss, so he wrote a work is "Identified Nine”. After careful reading"Identified Nine".“Identified Nine” distinguished the records the express of ambition. Inreality, the author thinks that the fact is not true through reading "IdentifiedNine". Song Yu was pointed that he was state of Song, but has Chu cadastral,which may be more in line with the historical truth. It is unfortunately thatdidn’t cause the attention of Chinese scholars. Combined with the existingdocuments and Song Yu, the representative works " Identified Nine”, themaster’s thesis demonstrated and investigated Mr. Peng’s views again. Hisbirth year may be from323BC to318BC.The third part analyzed and discussed thought and personalitycharacteristics of Song Yu. And study of thought and character of Song Yu.Although the academic community have addressed on, it do not go into itdeeply. This paper mainly based on the works of Song Yu. He had greatthoughts, respected emperor patriotic, compassionated people, and paidattention to appoint people on their merit. On the cultivation of himself, hewas elegant thin vulgar and self-discipline rite. The personality characteristicswere mainly about the high, gas escape, learning deeply, avenging themonarch, and a noble character and a good reputation.The fourth part discusses the achievements and value of literature aboutthe works of Song Yu and the basis on the spreading of Song Yu’s literaryforms.The conclusion part is view on Song Yu and his works and point out itsrightful place in the Chinese literature history.
