The culture teaching in China have experienced three stages:recovery, development, and improvement and have made great progress, but due to the deep and long impact of constructionist language and conventional teaching, the problem we are faced with is still difficult, the education aimed to develop the ability of test is common, cultural education hasn’t been valued as it deserves to be. With the more development of global economic intergration,the cross cultural communities will be more and more, so people with poor cultural awareness and cross cultural ability cannot fit into the new world. The author has required English teachers and students on the basis of previous study and analyzed the problem that has been discovered, then put forward some Culture Teaching strategies and class activities designs which is aimed at the characteristics of the project, and brought up several suggestions on the reform of English class Culture Teaching of the this project.Chapter One introduces the Chinese-foreign cooperation programs project of the status quo of college English culture teaching combed the seven aspects of the problems, and expounds the importance of cultural factors in English teaching.Chapter Two summarizes the related research. Through the description of the current situation of the development of culture teaching at home and abroad, points out that the main regions and countries such as Europe and the United States earlier study of culture teaching, but the object of study and the results are different; Chinese have a cautious attitude to culture teaching, and the attention degree is not enough, the students’ cultural knowledge level is relatively low, culture teaching needs to be strengthened. It defines the definition of "culture" in English teaching; this paper discusses the relationship between language and culture, the Culture Teaching concept and three levels. Project introduced distinctive features of college English teaching between the Chinese-foreign cooperation programs project and ordinary in aspects of the training target, teaching faculty, students.Chapter Three discusses the English classroom in Chinese-foreign cooperation programs projects of Culture Teaching investigation. Investigation shows that, although the English classroom has been integrated into the teaching of culture, but only a casual teaching behavior; teachers and students understanding of the importance of culture teaching has certain difference; Culture Teaching method is used for many "traditional teaching method","interactive" communicative method less; restricting factors in the implementation of culture teaching is teachers’lack of knowledge of the target language culture and Culture Teaching method, four, six level of test pressure, the existing materials can not meet the requirements of culture teaching, class is not enough; overseas partner universities in foreign students learn cultural knowledge is not enough to cope with in English speaking countries life. The paper analyzes the above phenomenon from the six aspects of teaching environment, teachers, students, teaching method, teaching materials and test methods.Chapter Four is the main part. The survey reflects the problems and reasons, according to the characteristics of the Chinese-foreign Cooperation programs; the article summarizes the four types of applicable culture teaching strategies, and design the corresponding class activities. First and foremost,"knowledge culture "is known as a kind of class teaching strategy, including culture lecture, culture visit form and so on. Secondly, it referred to the" Communication culture" teaching strategy and cultural session, cultural performances, comparison method, analog communication practice fusion model is included. Thirdly, it mentions "Cross-cultural" class teaching strategy, which covers cultural cooperation, cultural fragments and package, such as culture complex form. The last but not the least, it involves "multicultural" teaching strategies that incorporates role plays, cultural conflict and cultural forms such as Prism. Finally, classroom activities design for Culture Teaching including physical imitation, essay writing practice, introducing on the regional culture, understanding culture through the idioms and proverbs, drawing from memory, individual feeling of space distance, cultural stereotype, recall a time of the initial, foreign arts and crafts exhibition, interviews with foreigners and film appreciation, etc.Chapter Five puts forward the main conclusion of this article. According to the article use the teaching strategy should be targeted according to the teaching object, not blindly, indiscriminate use of culture teaching strategies; English Culture Teaching in Chinese-foreign Cooperation programs should be integrated use of four types of teaching strategies. English Culture Teaching in Chinese-foreign Cooperation programs reform put forward the following suggestions:strengthen the cooperation and exchanges of Chinese and foreign teachers, promote the adjustment and innovation of teaching methods; Stratification in class teaching, pay attention to the students’ subjectivity and diversity; Build a learning community, promote mutual learning, improve the classroom efficiency, and create a special teaching; To optimize the teaching content; Optimization of teaching methods and means.
