The Series Of Ink Painting About Alive

The imagery of Chinese painting is one of the important elements in my works of Alive series. Compared with western realistic expression, eastern expression of imagery possesses rooted inherent advantages, with eastern aesthetic philosophy expressing feelings in a romantic and elegant way. Art is for at because it’s a kind of meaningful form within itself, as is usually called the taste, which is visually deliverable but difficult to tell. The author thinks the contents of and the way to show the works are organic, so my Alive series apply exaggerated and metabolic methods to make the works more lively, which does better than realistic expression in terms of strength.Art is a significant component of human culture, the materialized true feelings of human beings embodying humanistic concern. Therefore, art works are gripping. A cold-hearted man can never become an artist. True artists must be realistic and they keep a watchful eye on society, nature and people, concerned about the meaning of life and portraying the greatness of being alive. The reason why I choose figures in Chinese painting is that I can demonstrate the human in it more directly following a Chinese way of thinking and expression. Whatever theme it is, the works serve as the products of soul and heart.Whoever learns Chinese painting faces the problem of tradition. From my point of view tradition only offers a way of expression. Tradition must move forward while a tradition without changes and development is doomed to die out. If we say certain painting skill reached its peak in certain dynasty of China’s history and set this certain skill as the standard for future development of Chinese painting, we are going to step into a dark world.In creation, picture composition observes principles of form but not scientific perspective methods to build their syntagmatic relations. In a virtual world,we sectorize pictures with human body and block surface edge to create in-depth space, shape, color lump and structure configuration, etc, instead of the replicate of real scene. What painting emphasizes is the intervention of feelings and the expression of intuition, but if the command of original experience is not good enough, we may turn the vivid nature into inflexible standardization. On the contrary, the unconscious intervention in the construction of images sometimes grants it a new natural and lively visage.
