| Sports dance evolved from dance, and is on the brink of literature and art andsports. It is a competitive dance which regards competition as its purpose, and withcharacteristics of self-entertaining and viewing. It not only is quite competitive, butalso owns fitness, entertainment and performance which are suitable for all. Musicand dress are two important elements. Music increases rhythmic beauty which causesa responsive chord between audience and performers. The application of clothbeautifies the body movement so as to show the beauty of action and shape and addthe atmosphere in order to influence and attract people to join this sport. Sports dancehas been promoted in Chinafor more than30years. To make its rapid development,some experts and scholars advocate the Chinese elements in the development of thissport at home and abroad. And promote Chinese elements in performing sports dance.This phenomenon has been brightly reflectedon the aspect of adopting elements ofChinese music and clothes in sports dance, that is to say, the audience can appreciateit by listening and watching and easily for people to love and accept.In recent years, according to the spirit of the "curriculum standards for physicaleducation and health", some Primary and secondary school are developing physicalcourses and bring the sports dance in campus.This move add newnessand vigors tophysical education which is very popular amongteenagers. However, as lack ofteaching materials for sports dance, most of the teaching contents are decided by PEteachersthemselves, Together, with some teachers has notreceive professional learningof sports dance and insufficient understanding of Chinese elements applied in musicand dress of sports dance, thus they are quite perplexed about how to refer to elementsof Chinese music and dress when arranging sports dance that with Chinesecharacteristics. As a result, occurs the phenomenon that the teacher arrange the sports dance as they pleaseBased on this phenomenon, this paper uses literature survey and image analysismethod while studyingthe works of some experts and scholars and appreciating someof the network videos; Using the method of logical reasoning method and theoreticalsummary method, I have made a analysis about the typical examples of sports danceof recent years that with Chinese elements both at home and abroad. For domesticcase, I take three double-men dance and eight group dance as examples (double-mendance:"Farewell","Farewell My Concubine","Dream"; group dance:"House of FlyingDaggers","Cottage Latin Tend","Jasmine","Drum Dance";"Tai Chi Wind","DancingChina","Song Like A Dream","Blue and White China"). Because of the limitedreference material, this paper only itemizes two foreign cases(first, in the InternationalStandard Dance Contest in December2003which was held in Stuttgart of Germany,the group dance from Moldova team in Sports Danceperformedfor the prominentChinese elements of music and costumes and got the first place at last; second, whilethe Brazil’s samba paradecelebrating Carnival on13th February,2010, the danceschool of Restinga became the most dazzling spectacle because of thesamba danceperformances which combined with Chinese elements). Based upon the studying ofsuccessful combination with the salient features of Chinese music and dress elementsin these sports dance performances, upon the conclusion on the main ideas andpractices about these successful cases, and upon the theoretical summary inoperability, this paper is finished. And it is used for understanding of sports danceand exchange of ideas in this field. |
