Case Study On The Application Of Chinese Music Elements In The Creation Of Electronic Dance Music

In the United States in the 19 th century,pop music culture gradually became a kind of entertainment culture of contemporary Americans.Its continuous development has produced a variety of musical styles that affect the world.Electronic dance music also came into being,and it gradually became the mainstream stage as a sub-cultural music form.Electronic dance music has the attributes of club music,and because of this,it is often seen in public places such as bars.However,with the development of the times and the aesthetic requirements of people,it has spawned more genres,and the methods of production have been changing with the advancement of computers and other hardware devices.The audience of electronic dance music tends to be younger,and both commercial and artistic,which makes its globalization process at an alarming rate.As the world's cultural exchanges become more frequent,electronic dance music has also been introduced to various countries and regions,adding more vitality through the combination of local characteristic music elements.The Chineseization process of electronic dance music is also an important part of its globalization process.Under such a background,more and more works created by Chinese music elements have emerged in China,which is also the research goal of this paper.This paper analyzes the electronic dance music that incorporates Chinese music elements,and discusses how electronic dance music can be combined with local characteristic music elements in a new environment to produce new musical forms.
