For students majoring in interpreting and translation, the interpreting practice is an indispensable part in graduate study and the most common form of interpreting practices is liaison interpreting.Based on the second model of the China National Committee For MTI Education, which is the translation practice report, this thesis analyzes four liaison interpreting practices of the author, namely International Honors Program, the ICC compliance conference, the112th China Import and Export Fair and the18th Dental South China International Expo, from the perspective of interpreter’s visibility consciousness, non-neutral stance, empowerment consciousness, interpreting quality, cultural differences and ad hoc knowledge acquisition, and puts forward solutions and suggestions to improve the interpreter’s interpreting ability.
