Development Of Questionnaire And Prelimina-Ry Application About Participation Behavior In Network Group Events Of College Students

This article takes the college students as the object of study, establishing the questionnaire of participation behavior in network group events in order to explore the structure of the participation behavior in network group events. It can be employed as an effective tool to measure the participation behavior in network group events as well. Based on the analysis of texts and results of open questionnaire, the items of participation behavior in network group events are created. After testing and re-testing, a questionnaire named participation behavior in network group events is created, in which the statistical method of item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis are used. By analyzing the differences of demographic variables, this study examines the relationship among spread motivation and participation behavior in network group events, as well as investigating the mediating effect of political efficacy among spread motivation and participation behavior. The main research results are outlined as following:(1) Participation behavior in network group events has a multi-dimension structure, which included four factors named response and expression, network trial, network indulgence and active discussion. Furthermore response and expression contains seven items, network trial contains five items, network indulgence contains five items and active discussion contains four items.(2) The questionnaire which was created by this study has a high reliability and validity. The confirmatory factor analysis shows that the fit indices are good. Internal consistency coefficient of each dimension is between0.752and0.853. The reliability coefficient of total questionnaire is0.906, and it is indicated that the questionnaire has a high reliability and stability. The correlation among each dimension is between0.411and0.496. The correlation of the total questionnaire and each dimension is between0.745and0.813, so it is indicated that the total questionnaire has a high structure validity.(3) Differences analysis of all statistical variables of the participation behavior in network group events showed:There are significant differences existing in participation behavior in network group events of college students preference affecting grade, time online per day, the degree of concern in network group events and the view of network group events. In contrast, there are no significant differences existing in participation behavior in network group events preference affecting gender, major and proficiency in the use of network.(4) The spread motivation of network group events can forecast the participation behavior. Political efficacy has mediating effect in spread motivation and participation behavior.(5) Aim at network group events’ present situation, there are some supervision suggestions of participation behavior in network group events for rulers to reference.
