Study On The Problem Of Narrative In Chinese Poetry Since The1990s

Since the1990s,"Narrative" became an important feature of Chinese poetry. In the beginning, only a few poets write poems using narrative elements. But later, more and more poets began to use narrative strategy. This kind of writing method has gradually become the trend of poetry writing. Since then, the number of narrative poems began to increase. The problem of "narrative" has become a focus in the study of Chinese poetry. Why does the poets use narrative strategy in poetry writing? What are the characteristics of these poems in the language and structure? And how do these characteristics work? Is there any story in the narrative poetry? If there is no story in the narrative poems, what is the significance of these poems? The study of these problems is the starting point of this paper. Around the above problems, this thesis mainly launches the elaboration from the following four parts:Part I:Introduction. Summarize the condition of research on the narrative poetry, put forward the main problems are studied in this paper, and point out the research methods and the significance of this thesis.Part II:The spiritual direction of the narrative poetry. There are many reasons for the poets to choose the narrative strategy. Seeking a new way of lyric, letting poetry reflects the real life, highlighting the sense of equality and the spirit of conversations, and creating the new possibility of the poetry writing, these reasons make poets chose narrative strategy at last.Part â…¢:The characteristics of the narrative poetry in the language and structure. On the one hand, the narrative poetry use close rhetoric in words. These words are close to life and make the expression very exact. On the other hand, the narrative poetry use the remote statements in sentence. These sentences make the poets keep away from the object in felling and perspective. Besides that, the small and individual subjects are very common in the narrative poetry. The events and scenes in the narrative poetry are just put together in parallel. The characteristics of the narrative poetry in the language and structure reflect the spiritual direction of the poets.Part â…£:The narrative poetry beyond the narrative itself. There is no story in the narrative poems. The poets express their unique life experience through the narrative poetry.
