Many choreographs of dance works in China often choose ancient poetry as the creative blueprint,among which,they either adapt the content of ancient poetry faithfully,or interpret it with new ideas.Both dance and poetry have narratives,but lyricism is their common essence.Poetry and dance,both relatively separate,and mutually integrated.Both aim to express emotions,but in completely different ways.Ancient poems are narrated with words and language,covering the thoughts of emotion;Dance is the body,rhythm and rhythm to express and performance,covering the image."Poeticization" is an important content in the pursuit of dance.It is precisely because of the natural poetry of dance that poets can most easily directly arouse their passion for dance.The commonness of dance and poetry makes dancers and poetry become "bosom friends" of each other.Therefore,how to transform the form of poetry in contemporary dance works is a topic of continuous exploration.The current relevant literature though in different degree,point out the relationship between poetry and dance,dance,creative is also used in poetry as a blueprint,trying to complete the "poetic" transformation of dance works,but it is still a lack of theoretical analysis,or more emphasis on research the relationship between poetry and dance,and less attention to the poetry to the transformation of the image,not to dig from the spiritual level.Paper,therefore,starting from the point of the literature has not yet been deeply involved in,expanding horizons to the ancient classical poetry the plait of dance works,on the basis of research on verses and dance works,how to dance creation in verses from the character image,convey the flavor of poetry,as well as the creation of how to make extensive performance of the author’s inner emotional thinking.Through the comprehensive and systematic analysis of the "variation" of the re-creation of the characters in poetry in the dance art,this paper extracts and grasps the inherent law and value significance of this kind of dance creation,in the hope of contributing to the Chinese modern and contemporary dance creation,or giving some enlightenment to the related choreography.In this paper,using literature research,comparative analysis and reference to study and explore the poems in the transformation of contemporary dance work,put forward:dance and poetry are inseparable,but different and creative works of ancient Chinese poems and spirit to achieve a fit between the original poems or coincidences,reflect the artistic features of dance art in the performance form and director of the original perspective.The transformation of ancient poems into modern and contemporary dance works should grasp the spiritual will and the needs of The Times conveyed by the poems and follow the rules of artistic creation,refine and shape the images of dance characters,excavate the characters’ personality,psychology,cultural connotation and modern significance,and reflect the value orientation and humanistic pursuit of the choreographers.At the same time,on the basis of grasping the spiritual characteristics of the characters in poetry and lyrics,the transformation of poetry and lyrics should look for the cultural fulcrum and ideographic space of body language,so as to expand the connotation and capacity of dance,more accurately shape the characters in ancient poetry,and reflect the unique aesthetic pursuit and artistic style of the choreographers and directors.
