After the industrial and bourgeois revolution, a flowering of new arts tended to shiftaway from the traditional concept, pursuing the self-expression and rebellion. However, intoday’s world, with the globalization and development of modernism, the pursuit of theunified and common standard, as well as functionality requires many places to realize theregionalism. In this part, Xi’an and Shenzhen, the representatives ofgeographical and social difference, will be cited as two exemplifications. Third part aims atfinding out the rationalities and the underlying problems of sculptures in two cities under thedirection of information collected in the part two. Additionally, in this part, a series ofprinciples about public sculptures will be formulated which has a certain guiding significancefor other places.
