| Social control, the purpose of which is Social organization norms by means ofinstitutionalized and non-institutionalized to standardizes social order, maintainingsocial stability, preventing deviant behavior. Wang anshi, politician and thinker in theNorthern song dynasty, initiated by his XiNing reform, the purpose is to eliminate thesocial problems since the founding, and to strengthen the control of the government,maintain the long reign of the government. From the point of view of specific measuresand effect, the reform is to adjust the concept of social control and control meanssince the founding.This paper will from the view of social control to analyze the academic thinking ofWang anshi. The main contents are:The first part,the core of Wang’s philosophical thought is Tao as the noumenon ofthe cosmos, and he affirmed the reality of the world and subjective initiative. Based onthe description of the relations between all things, he established the philosophical toneupon humanity. At the same time, Wang anshi thinking about good and evil of humannature, emphasized the importance of morality to social, put the Confucian valuestandard as the highest ideal of life, thus became his philosophy basis of social thought.Second, Wang anshi emphasized the positive function of economic activities on thesocial development, he advocated in the economic and political ways to adjust thecontrol mode of the government, and to change the development of the free mode, re-distribution of social resources, top-down combing the management system of empire,from the perspective of economy, politics, ideology, moral to strengthen thegovernment’s control power to the society, prevent the emergence of social deviantbehavior from multiple levels.But the confine as a result of age condition, Wang is unable to realize his politicalambitions, and impossible to put forward the reasonable ideas of social control. Thereare theoretical contradictions exist in his theory, in the process of execution, his system lack of restraint and supervision, no corresponding feedback mechanism andself-adjustment mechanism, these problems are worthy of our reflection and attention. |
