To analyze the genetic and environmental influence on child psychological and behavioral,193pairs of school-age twins were enrolled in Hohhot and Baotou of Inner Mongolia. The behavior problems were assessed with the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). Family cohesion questionnaire (FACES Ⅱ-CV) and family general condition questionnaire were used to investigate the influences of environmental factors. Structural equation modeling was performed to evaluate the heritability of behavior problems in school-age children. The result were as follows:(1)The over-all incidence rate of school-age twins in Hohhot and Baotou is21.24%; The rate for boys and girls are22.64%and20.10%;(2)The behavior problems of school-age children were influenced by genetic and environmental factors. The quantitative genetic model-fitting and estimates of variance components of were done with Mx, the best-fitting model of social ability and psychological and behavioral problems factors were ACES, except for physical discomfort. After adjusting age, the heritabilities of activity, social situation, school situation, anxiety/depression, withdrawn, thinking problem, attention problems, social problems, delinquent problems, aggressive behavior, total points22.76%,6.75%,0.00%,20.81%,50.16%,28.31%,79.72%,42.15%,39.13%,67.71%and16.67%in the boys and22.21%,20.12%,44.29%,67.40%,66.19%,56.13%,29.57%,46.28%,0.65%,38.53%and32.81%in the girls respectively. The gender effect existed in the heritabilities of attention problems and aggressive behavior, and the male’s heritabilities of them were higher than those of females. The genetic and environmental effects of the behavior problems of school-age children did not influenced by the age.(3)The school-age twin children various social ability and the psychological behavior problems of each factor is not influenced by an independent environmental factors, but in a variety of interaction between environmental factors. This research first systematic studied the psychological behavior problems of school-age twins in Hohhot and Baotou City, cleared the correlation heritability and the influence factors, and analyzed the interaction between the related environmental factors. Research have a certain of theoretical significanceto for explore the mechanism of children’s psychological behavior problems, at the same time strengthened the understanding of children’s psychological behavior problems to parents. Provided targeted education guidance for children, promoted and improved physical and mental health to school-age children in our country has important practical significance.
