Analysis The Construction Of Kunming Cuihu Cultural Space

Economic globalization improve the status and importance of cities in countries and regions. The use of information technology and knowledge industry as the "new economy" make cities compete more and more rely on the power of culture. Culture is the soul of a city and is one of the most effective methods to deal this problem. Different urban cultures have their own influence on economy, architecture and cultural spirit. Therefore, only based on careful study of urban cultures, can urban goes to world. To handle the urban culture construction problems is of great significance for the future sustainable development of city. Based on the review of theory and practice analysis, this paper believes that cultural space construction is one of the effective ways of city culture construction, and a new and dialectical understanding of the cultural resource in Kunming is a requirement of building cultural space of Kunming. And the exploration and re-use of cultural resources is of significant influence on Kunming’s culture and the construction of cultural space.As a famous Historical and Cultural city, Kunming is a city of rich cultural resources, while facing the problem between "protection and development". How to coordinate the protection of cultural resources and the need of the city development is one of the most important issues of urban culture. Then based on the analysis of cultural resources of Cuihu Cultural Space at different times and of different kinds, this paper gives a dialectical interpretation of Cuihu Cultural Space status, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of current status.
