Try to determine through comparative study of "Gendai Chugokugo" and "Hanasaku Chugokugo" what kind of teaching meterials are best helping Japanese people study the Chinese language. At the same time also propose some concrete methods of improvement.Because both sets of teaching materials are designed for two different types of learners and have different teaching requirements, their grammar teaching styles and characteristics also different. The present paper through comparative study of grammar items, tries to investigate the reason behind these different and propose a suitable method for teaching Chinese grammar to Japanese learners. The second chapter focus mainly on analyzing the differences in quantity, choosing, number of dividing points and arrangement of grammar points and tries to find out the reason why these differences exist between the two sets of teaching materials which are designed for same level.
