College Students Personality Traits, The Relationship Between Social Support And Mobile Phone Rely On Research

In the information time, the phone brings the convenience to college students while having bad effects on college students.One of bad effects is that some university students rely on phones so much. Phone depends can bring some harm to the mental health of college students.In order to explore this phenomenon, this study takes college students as subjects and explores the relationship of the phone depends,personality traits and social support.The study makes questionnaire surveys on800college students.The tests are Social Support Questionnaire, Mobile Phone Dependence Questionnaire of College Students and Big Five Personality Questionnaire. After completing the investigation, the study takes analysis of data by SPSS.The survey gets some results in the relationship of the phone depends,personality traits and social support.(1) Phone depends of students is serious, and gender and grade do not exist in it.(2) Social support does not exsit gender and grade differences.(3) Agreeableness and responsibility exsit gender differences, and agreeableness exsits grade differences., agreeableness grade differences exist;(4) Mobile phone dependence has significant correlation and regression relationships with personality traits and social support.The study puts forward some measures form the schools and students according to the conclusions.Schools should strengthen the dependence of students on the phone counseling, create a fair and harmonious learning atmosphere, build a harmonious campus culture, increase students’academic care, teach students interpersonal strategies, proactive measures attention and improve their mental health to help the mobile phones students and improve their level of mental health. Students need to properly treat the cell phone while creating positive relationships to avoid over-reliance on mobile phones.
