The Research Of Zhuangshishiyu In The Early Qing Dynasty

The Qing Dynasty is a period of frequent literary inquisition. For the Brief History of Ming Dynasty, Zhuang Tinglong and his colleagues are involved in the endless storm of the literary inquisition, so this event is very typical. As the biggest literary inquisition in early years of the Qing Dynasty, the status of Zhuangshishiyu is very important. Alternating Shunzhi and Kangxi, the Qing Dynasty has not been out of turmoil completely, so national policies are closely around political stability, making the social contradictions and ethnic conflicts of this period intertwined and sharp. And Zhuangshishiyu, happened in this period, reflects the complex social conditions. For this reason, this article will discusses Zhuangshishiyu fully in three aspects.The first part will introduce the whole story of Zhuangshishiyu. Firstly, many people are involved in this case. Secondly, the case is erratic. Thirdly, the punishments are very harsh.The second part will discuss the reason of Zhuangshishiyu. Firstly, the rulers of Qing Dynasty extremely hate the nationalism of the Brief History of the Ming Dynasty. Secondly, to guard against the interference of literati in the politics, the rulers of Qing Dynasty put a ban on literary club set, so the Zhuang family becomes the victims of this policy. Thirdly, Zhuangtinglong edits the history book in order to become famous, as a result, the Zhuang family are used by others.The third part will discuss the influence of Zhuangshishiyu. Zhuangshishiyu causes a surprising amount of damage to academic culture and has a negative effect on the political climate of Qing Dynasty. From a historical perspective, Zhuangshishiyu reflects the important position of historiography in the ancient society and the relationship between polity and historiography.
