Research Of Yueshu

YueShu belongs to the Records of the Historian, which contains many significant ritual thoughts, have been attention by Scholars of all times. Today, we are on the basis of predecessors’ research, discussing the lack of YueShu and its author. And in this paper, author will also discuss the Western Han Dynasty’s music development. I wish to contact the music development background, and attitudes towards the ritual music of the Han people, discussing the creation time and author of YueShu. Based on the scholar’s researches on YueShu, the paper divides the research into such kinds:all of YueShu missing, parts of the YueShu missing, all of the YueShu exists. After a series of analyses, I think parts of the YueShu missing are reasonable. In the supplementary writing on YueShu, This article discussed on the content of the text, the author and the writing time, Based on the scholars research on YueShu, the paper divides the research into four kinds: the author is Sima Qian, the author is Chu Shaosun, the author is Feng Shang, the author is Wumingshi, finally clear the author is not Sima Qian or Chu Shaosun, and the author is most likely Feng Shang. Finally, this paper discusses the development of LiYue in the Western Han Dynasty, the abolition and the establishment of YueFu, and Han people’s attitude towards LiYue. To sum up, this paper thinks that the author of YueShu is a Confucian scholar, who is keen on LiYue culture renaissance, of Western Han Dynasty during the reign of emperor AI.
