| Body language is a special kind of language phenomenon, just like the linguisticnotations. It’s an important part of the nonverbal communication, which can sometimes aidspoken language, and sometimes even can replace the spoken language to play the role ofcommunication tool temporarily. Body language helps discourse mutual understanding inorder to make the language more abundant. This article explores body language from theperspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. At first, the paper provides a briefintroduction about body language. Secondly, this paper focuses on the body language inthe application in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. At last, it gives some suggestionsaddressing these teaching problems. As body language has its unique value, teachersshould improve their body language so as to better teaching skills. |
