With China’s entry into WTO, China’s foreign trade becomes more and more buoyant.Business English has become a language tool indispensible in current international economicactivities. And business contracts play important role in foreign trade, that is, owing to businesscontracts, Chinese and foreign Parties safeguard the interests of their rights. Therefore businesscontract is widely used and attracting more and more attention of researcher.Recently, business contracts have been studied by numerous researchers at home andabroad from different angles such as skopos theory, functionalism, language, stylistics, languageand culture, then some fruits were achieved. Yet according to the research, the author finds thatmost research is made from the perspective of E-C translation of IBC, and the study of C-E IBCtranslation is relatively inadequate, also the research lack the systemic theory.The thesis is composed of five chapters: Chapter One introduces the background, thepurpose and the significance of the thesis, raises the research methodology and corpuscollection and lists the outline of this study. Chapter Two is the literary review, the authormakes a literature review on the international business research and parallel text model researchat home and abroad; Chapter Three introduces text type theory and elaborates on the content ofparallel text model. Chapter Four is an overview of IBC; it covers definitions, classification,category and features of IBC. Chapter Five applies Parallel Text to C-E Translation ofInternational Business Contracts. The final part is the conclusion, it summarizes the majorfindings and the limitations, and proposes the suggestions for further research in the translationof IBC field....
