| We always meet with the Uyghur translation of idioms during the process of ourdaily contact, writing and translation. Chinese idioms are the most commonly usedlife terms to express complicated feelings in our daily life, since they often appear inoral forms, we always have difficulties in translating them into Uyghur language,and the language fails to express the meaning. Through exploring the source andcharacteristics of Chinese idioms, I studied it by analyzing the structural features,emotional colors, cultural connotations and time characteristics of it. While noticingthese characteristics, I used traditional translation methods to study the points thatneed attention in the translation of Chinese idioms into Uyghur language. |
