Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region area accounts for about One-Sixth of China,which is the biggest provinces in our country.Xinjiang used to have a long historyand splendid culture and it was one of the earliest cradles of human. As early as onemillion seven hundred thousand years to five and six hundred thousand years ago,our ancestors have been lived in this vast land. From the archaeological data, humanactivities had been in the ancient Xinjiang from the Stone Age to the fall of Qingdynasty. After thousands of years, different dynasties, races, and different ethnicgroups have left their traces of beauty here.The search for the root of history incultural relics literature about creation of beauty, Which is the foundation of thedevelopment of art education at present stage. Because of the long history, objectivefactors such as lack of literature references, the paper compiles an outline article thatincludes all activities happened in each historical stage of the fine arts education.Research on ancient art education in Xinjiang survey is divided into six parts; thefirst part is a few questions involved in ancient Xinjiang art education survey,including the interpretation of "ancient in Xinjiang"; this paper summarized thehistory of the fine art education and art education research object; and illustrates themeanings of ancient art education. This part lays the foundation for the defined scope.It writes every dynasty of art education activities from the second part to the fifthpart, which mainly draws from the historical and cultural background. And itcompletes with pictures according to the literature and ancient cultural relics.The second part writes art education activities of Xinjiang from Pre-Qin dynastyto Han dynasty. It starts clues with stone tools, pottery, handicrafts and religiouspaintings, wood carvings and other art works the ancient people used. Its third partswrites from Han dynasty to Sui and tang dynasties art education in Xinjiang. Itfocuses on Buddhist art of Xinjiang in that period. In addition, because of the centralgovernment had gradually ruled over the frontier. Culture educations were developedwith calligraphy education in Xinjiang. The phenomenon of crafts and fine artseducation emerged in handicraft industry. Has formed a certain scale in Xinjiang, ithas formed family-style workshops and formal government industries at that age.The fourth part writes fine arts education five dynasties, song and Yuan dynasties inXinjiang. It basically covers Islamic calligraphy education in arachnid period. Thefifth part is Yuan Ming dynasty, and Qing period of fine arts education in Xinjiang. Itwrites miniature and handicraft of the fine arts education industry in this period.andthe Xinjiang school fine arts education in Qing dynasty. The sixth part summarizesthe whole article.From the perspective of historical development, ancient art education ofXinjiang exists in people’s production living. People’s aesthetic view are alsochanged with social development, the history integrates with all ethnic groups ofwisdom and aesthetic. The article writes the special form of ancient art education ofXinjiang in general, providing basis and historical roots for development of arteducation in Xinjiang.
