Nowadays, With the film show adapted from a novel, the author of the novelhidden behind the screen has been more and more people’s attention. The study basedon Li Bihua, a writer hidden behind the screen for a long time, discuss the deeprelationship between novel and film adaptation, so as to build a bridge ofcommunication between literature and film and television adaptation.The full text is composed of five parts, the first part is the introduction, the mainpart constitutes of three chapters, the final part is a conclusion. Each part is discussedmainly as follows:The introduction mainly discusses the influence on Li Bihua′s creation under thebackground of Hong Kong commercial culture and the general situation of theresearch on Li Bihua in recent years.The chapter one mainly elaborated the theme of Li Bihua′s novels, including theexploration of human nature,"Female sense" of presentation and reflection, theunique "cultural revolution" memory,thus, this paper explores the mystery of hernovel successfully adapted into a movie.The chapter two mainly through the overview of Li Bihua′s novel and filmadaptation, and the inference of scriptwriter identity on Li Bihua′s novel creation andthe unique image feature to illustrate the phenomenon of Li Bihua′s novel and filmadaptation.The chapter three mainly through the three films (“Rouge”,“Farewell MyConcubine”,“Green Snake”)to discuss history of nostalgia, identity crisis and thereturn of human nature. And then discusshow to realize departure and accordancefrom novels to films by Li Bihua.The end is a summary of some problems in front of this paper and we pay moreattention to the author again.
