In recent years, with the continuous development of art professional high education,especially the deepening of teaching reform in high education, we need more teaching reformin college music. The author as a college piano teacher, are thinking about how to implant of anew teaching theory to explore new teaching model in institutions of high learning, and howto use innovative teaching methods to promote the current institutions of learning musicprofessional teaching reform and other issues in-depth thinking in the last two yearsPoints based on such considerations and the constructivist theory point, and on the basisof secondary thinking of previous research in the field, in the course of the study, the authorcombined with currently the status quo of piano teaching and the author’s sense in ourcolleges and universities, think Gordon to explore the university piano teaching methods andnew teaching model.The subject of research adheres to the student-centered philosophy, in the course of thestudy, using college A as a case study, fully investigates the constructivist teaching method inpiano teaching practice, mainly uses two methods: questionnaire survey and interview, andexplore problems and phenomena in college piano teaching combined with the actualsituation of college A. In the last article according to the current situation and its problems ofthe piano teaching in college A, proposes four initiatives targeted solutions, including students,teaching methods, teachers, contributes to the exploration of our college piano teachingmethods.
