Han Han as a leading figure in "the generation after1980s" writers, who is getting a lotof pubic attention..Especially, his essays were the most representative. This paper is based onthe linguistic perspective, with accurate and complete analysis of his essays, and takes thearticle examples as the breakthrough point, combined with modern Chinese rhetoric, themodern Chinese style theory etc. To discussing the independent language arts of Han Han’sessays from the aspects of vocabulary, rhetoric and other sides. We can see the artistic spirits of Han Han’s essays in the three points: humorous, vividand contemporary. Humorous include three different kinds: comic-style humor, ridiculehumor and English humor; vivid include specific things, imagination, metaphor description;contemporary includes appearance of network words, use of new pattern matching. At the same time, we should be aware of the deficiencies existing in Han Han’sessays. From the view of linguistic, his words can not stand up to close scrutiny, the excessivefree expression has cause many grammatical errors. From the view of ideological, Han Han’sessays are easy to understand. Han Han explained his ideas directly, say others didn’t dare tosay, all of which reflect his sense of social commitment. On the other hand, Han Han’s essaysare not deep enough in logic and thought, and their personal values are not clear enough aswell. So it can’t make Han Han to be one of the famous thought leaders like Lu Xun.
