Peer relationships are a hot issue for the present study. Peer relationships are a relationship of common activity and mutual collaboration, or an interpersonal interaction, among the children of the same age or similar. Relevant research considered that factors directly affect the adolescent peer relationships include social skills, family (including family functioning, parenting style), biological emotional factors, academic achievement and other factors.In order to deeply investigate peer relationships and complement the knowledge of high school groups, we employed parental rearing pattern scale, the emotional intelligence scale, peer relationship questionnaire to investigate and analysis of more than500high school students in Shenyang city, the purpose of this work is to understand the current situation of peer relationships, parental rearing pattern scale, emotional intelligence of high school students, and to explore the impact of parental rearing pattern and emotional intelligence on peer relationships. The results showed that:The score of high school girls is significantly high than boys in the regulation of emotions and the use of the emotion dimension. The score of high school boys is significantly higher than girls in the peer acceptance, severe punishment of father, overprotection of father, refused to deny of father.The scores of only child were higher than the non-only child in overly intrusive of father, refuse of father, excessive interference and protection of mother, influence others. The score of non-only child was significantly higher than only child in the emotional perception.The score of second grade students is significantly high than the third grade students in excessive interference and over-protection dimension of mother. The score of first grade students was significantly higher than junior high school students in excessive interference and over-protection dimension of mother. There is a significant difference in emotional perception between the first grade and third grade, second grade and third grade. And there is a significant different in self-regulation between the first grade and second grade, second grade and third grade.There is a significant negative correlation between the factor of peer relationship, the warm emotion of father, the warm emotion of mother; there is a significantpositive correlation between the factor of peer relationship and severe punishment offather, excessive interference of father, refused to deny of father, overprotection offather, excessive interference of mother, refused to deny of mother, severe punishmentof mother.There is a significant negative correlation between the factor of peer relationship,and the score of emotional intelligence.There is a significant negative correlation between the score of emotionalintelligence and warm emotion and understanding of father, warm emotion andunderstanding of mother. There is a significant negative correlation between score ofemotional intelligence and the severe punishment of father, refused to deny of father,the severe punishment of mother, refused to deny of mother.As a mediator variable, emotional intelligence play an important role betweenparental rearing pattern and peer relationships in high school. |
