Kucha is an oasis of the most important one in the Western Regions of ancient China.Kucha is the descendants of the white race from the Eurasian steppe, historians calledTocharian. Kucha is the middle of the big country of the Silk Road, the location is veryimportant. Silk Road is the road of commerce is a channel of communication between avariety of different civilizations. Ancient Greek civilization, the ancient Persian civilization,the ancient Indian civilization and the ancient Chinese civilization in this channel allcommunication, integration, while the Kucha just at the intersection of the four greatcivilizations, lucky enough to be the crossroads of many important civilizations intersection,which makes Kucha culture showing a multi-cultural characteristics.From the ancient Indian Buddhist art in Kucha prosperous, Kucha become the mostimportant Buddhist countries of western China. Kucha after the introduction of Buddhism byleaps and bounds by the whole nation of faith, Monks are many senior monks on behalf ofsomeone out of the pagoda temples throughout the country, Buddhism is very prosperous. Inthe3-6century, popular Theravada all Ministry.The Kucha Buddhist art is the main temples, Buddhist caves, Buddhist sculptures,Buddhist murals art form.3-6century, Kucha Buddhist art from Gandhara art, early KuchaBuddhist art by the Gandhara influence is very obvious traces of Gandhara art. Over time, theof Kucha Buddhist art tend to localization, to produce a distinctive Kucha local culturalcharacteristics of Buddhist art, Buddhist art known as “Kucha style”. I argue these two phasesof Buddhist art were carried out more detailed research and exposition.The starting point of the Kucha Buddhist art, deep inside, content-rich, brilliant, andmany historical sites, cultural relics are more abundant, is valuable spiritual wealth of theChinese nation. In the history of Buddhism along the Silk Road of the East pass Kuchaseveral important Buddhist art through Dunhuang Liangzhou, pyongsong, Luoyang regioninto the Central Plains, the Buddhist art of the Central Plains region of great and far-reachingimpact. Kucha of Buddhist art, and related to geographic, ethnic, cultural, comprehensive study and discussion, and Kucha Buddhist art process and impact of the eastward spread ofthe Central Plains were also discussed.
