With the experience economy’s coming, Chinese people’s consuming attitudes havechanged a lot. The demand of people are no longer only stay in material comforts, butpaying more attention to obtain the content of individuality through the consumption.Experience has permeated into the different aspects of our lives, especially the influence ofeconomic life. We become more and more strongly feel that the experience economy hasarrived. Focusing on the experience economy, researching the experience economy anddeveloping experience economy arise educational world attention. Now, furniture storescompete fiercely in our country. So, how to improve the competitiveness of the storesbecomes an actively exploring problem of each enterprise. And the experience designtheory provides us a new perspective to display space design of stores.The thesis can be divided into four parts. The first part explains the development of theexperience economy, and analyses the design experience in the development prospect of thefurniture and elaborated on the related theory and concept in detail, and summarizes thecurrent situation of display space design. The second part mainly introduces theenvironment characteristic and culture characteristic of display space design in Baoding’sfurniture stores. The third part analyses the experience design in the display space design ofSanfeng furniture store, mainly from four aspects: space type, dynamic space, static spaceand space interface art processing. The fourth part elaborates the experience design featuresof Sanfeng furniture store by examine exhibits range, service category, media categories.
