Epimedium processed is Epimedium processing with Suet.It’s a commom Chinese herb with long history in traditional Chinese medicine.We study the standarzation of processing technology and the standard for quality control.This dissertation including eight parts.Chapter 1 A review of the literature studies on six aspects including bencaological study, resources allocation,chemical constituent,pharmacology,processing history evolution and the standard for quality control.The brief summary and argumentation 107 references were cited.Chapter 2 To prepare reference substance from Epimedium.Epimedin A,Epimedin B,Epimedin C and Baohuoside I were obtained.Chapter 3 Establish methods of determining the total flavoids and the five flavoids. Firstly,To establish the UV method for content determination of total flavoids in Epimedium processed with Suet.Icariin as reference substance,the linear equation was Y=0.0403X+ 0.0122,r2=0.9999(n=6).The calibration curves are linear at 2.01-20.08μg.mL-1.The average recoveries were 99.81%(RSD=2.33%,n=6).Secondly,To establish the HPLC method for content determination of the five flavoids in Epimedium processed with Suet.The Epinmendin A,Epinmendin B,Epinmendin C,Icariin and Baohuoside I linear equation were Y=1805641 X-33234,r2=0.9999,Y=1345532 X-47525,r2=0.9999,Y=1748186X-95951,r2=0.9999,Y=476068X-140772,r2=0.9999,Y=2277309X+41803,r2=1.The calibration curves are linear at 0.0333μ-3.2500μg,0.0688-6.7200μg,0.1008-10.5800μg,0.0872-8.7200μg,0.0528-5.1600μg.The average recoveries were 100.52%(RSD=1.36%,n=9), 100.40%(RSD=1.04%,n=9),99.68%(RSD=1.15%,n=9),100.94%(RSD=0.81%,n=9), 101.03%(RSD=1.25%,n=9).Chapter 4 The study on the processing technology of Epimedium processed with Suet.To optimize the processing technology of Epimedium processed with Suet we select the parch processing time and temperature as review factor to optimize the technology.The optimum processing condition obtained was:parch processing temperature 170℃,parch processing time 7min.Chapter 5 The studies on the quality standard of Epimedium processed with Suet.We distinguish by characteristics,microscopical chatacteristics,thin-layer chromatography, check up all inspect items,determination of extractives,total flavoids and five flavoids in 66 batches Epimedium processed with Suet.We establish the quality standard for Epimedium processed with Suet control(protocol).It defined that moisture content should lower than 4.0%.It defined that total ash should lower than 8.0%.It defined that acid-insoluble ash should lower than 2.0%.It defined that total flavonoids should more than 5.0%at dry condition.It defined that Icariin should more than 0.5%at dry condition.It defined that Baohuoside I should more than 0.08%at dry condition.Chapter 6 The study on stability of Epimedium processed with suet.We study that the room temperature stability and accelerated stability of Epimedium processed with Suet in three months,then we find that the Epimedium processed with Suet stability is fine.Chapter 7 We establish the finger print for to distinguish Epimedium.koreanum Nakai processed with Suet,Epimedium brevicornu Maxim.with Suet and Epimedium pubescens Maxim.processed with Suet.Chapter 8 To summarize and look ahead this items.
