0bjective: Exploring and analyzing the causes of children’s fractures and related factors provide us scientific basis for reducing the incidence of children’s fractures.Methods:Taking 6775 children fracture cases admitted into our hospital from January 2012 to Decembe r 2014 as the research object,and statistics on its age, gender, season,type,site, and other basic information,to further analyze the characteristics of fracture in children, the causes and the related factors.Results:There were 8610 fractures in 6775 patients, 4450 male and 2325 female.the male is more than female, the ratio is about 1.91:1.A good hair age for children fracture is 2~5 years old. A good time for children’s fractures was from May to October and The peak sea-sons of fracture were summer and autumn.The upper limb accounted for 46.5% of the total number of fractures, and the lower extremities accounted for 21.7% of the total fractures.So upper limb is the most common site of fracture in children。Fracture of the humerus is the most common type of fracture in children.Of the 6775 cases, The top 3 reasons for the children’ s fracture were fall, traffic accident and high fall injury.Conclusion: In order to reduce the incidence of fracture in children, we should take the age, gender, season, fracture site and so on to take a key, targeted, planned preventive measures.Families, schools, society and related departments should work together to create a good environment for the healthy growth of children.
