Objective:This study aims to explore the disposal level and willingness of waste for TB patients treated at home and determines the influencing factors, so as to provide evidence or the establishment of corresponding policies and measures.Method:This study adopts quantitative and qualitative methods, including literature research,interview and questionnaire survey. Relevant research literatures at home and abroad are collected and summarized through the literature research. The stratified random sampling method is adopted to choose six counties from shandong as the sampling areas, and self-made questionnaire is adopted to collect the corresponding information. The face-to-face interview is adopted to explore the TB patients’ subjective willingness, attitude of waste disposal, and the current status and suggestions for improvement of waste disposal, etc.Results:(1) 610 TB patients are investigated, of whom 385(63.1%) TB patients think it is necessary to dispose the waste, 166(27.2%) of the TB patients think it is unnecessary to dispose the waste specially. There are four factors significantly associated with disposal willingness of waste, which are professional type, spitting pattern before sick, supervision and awareness rate of infectious knowledge.(2) Only 89 TB patients dispose the waste correctly, and the accuracy rate is 14.6%.There are five factors significantly associated with waste disposal willingness, which are drinking, educational level, spitting pattern before sick, awareness rate of disposal knowledge and disposal willingness of waste.Conclusions:The disposal level and willingness of waste for TB patients are all very low, and there are many factors influencing the two aspects, and targeted interventions should be adopted according to the influencing factors, so as to improve the disposal level and willingness of waste for TB patients.
