Research Objectives: This research aims to adopt the method of bibliometrics to analyze the internal and external features of clinical mental nursing literature, display the research status and hotspot changes of domestic and foreign clinical mental nursing researches more directly and analyze the gap between Chinese and international researches, thus providing reference to Chinese clinical mental nursing researches.Research Object: Domestic and foreign research literature on clinical mental nursing is adopted as research object to analyze:(1) The international research object is all the bibliographic information of 2007-2015 periodical literature with retrieval method of “nursing”[Subheading] AND “psychology”[Subheading] and “Humans” selected in the option of Species obtained from Pubmed database, there are 9909 literatures in this section.(2) The domestic research object is all the bibliographic information of 2007-2015 periodical literature with “title or keyword=mental nursing” obtained from Wanfang database, we have 27890 literatures in this section. The literature obtained from the two databases is divided into three time periods of 2007-2009, 2010-2012 and 2013-2015(Hereinafter referred to as the three time periods) to analyze.Research methods: 1. Literature analysis method: Get papers related to clinical psychological nursing by searching Pub Med database and Wanfang database, collect Pub Med databases in the format of XML and bibliographic of Wanfang database in the format of Note First. 2. Word frequency analysis method: Employ word frequency analysis on the two bibliography databases with Bicomb software, the word frequency analysis results are saved as the EXCEL Table. Analysis contents of Pub Med databases include literature amount, literature language distribution, journal distribution, national journal distribution and the word frequency of subject headings / sub subject headings. Analysis contents of Wanfang databases include literature amount, the fund paper ratio, journal distribution, highly cited papers in every period, keywords word frequency and co-occurrence keywords distribution. 3. Cluster analysis method: Carry on traditional clustering on the top 30 high-frequency subject headings / sub subject headings of related literatures during every period of the Pub Med database for by using SPSS software, and cabs clustering with g CLOTO software, the two results are combined to analysis the international hot research direction. 4. Co word analysis method: Using Bicomb software to carry on the co-word analysis of the key words of the Wanfang database. 5. Visualization method: Using the information visualization software Net Draw, draw co-occurrence network on the high frequency keywords and co-occurrence keywords of the Wanfang database, and clarify the domestic clinical psychology nursing research hot spots in each time period.Research results: From the bibliometric analysis results of international clinical mental nursing researches in Pubmed database, the publication number of relevant literature from 2007 to 2015 is 9930,the average annual amount of literature is about 1100,it can seen that the publication number of every year tended to be stable, and the proportion of clinical mental nursing literature each year occupied about 35% of the total clinical nursing literature. From the distribution of the languages of literature, the proportion of English literature are 87.46%、83.38%、79.59% in three time periods, and the French and German literature have a larger proportion than other non-English literature. From the perspective of the distribution of literature periodicals, among the top 20 periodicals in three time periods, 6 to 7 are German and French ones, with the rest being English ones. The number of the specialist nursing periodical are 9 in both 2007-2009 and 2010-2012, the 2013-2015 is 11. The specialist nursing periodicals include obstetric nursing、mental nursing、 pediatric nursing and tumor nursing, with pain nursing periodicals added from 2013 to 2015. As to the country distribution of periodicals, the United States and Britain always remain the first and second position. The top ten countries accounted for the proportion of the total amounts of journals of each time period was 95.34%, 95.70%, 96.02% in the three periods, the amounts of journals of other countries accounted for only less than 5%. From the results on the word frequency analysis we can see that, three stages high frequency subject headings concentrated in the attitude of the medical staff, caregiver psychological and nursing staff’s psychological and role in psychological nursing, patients with mental disorders of psychological care, dementia patients psychological nursing, nurse-patient relationship, psychological nursing of tumor patients, adaptive psychology, quality of life, social support, role on family effect in the psychological nursing. In the direction of the research hotspot, each stage select the top 30 high-frequency words for traditional clustering and double clustering analysis, form 2007 to 2009, the good directions on clustering are aspects of nurses, including continuing education, nurses’ psychological and in psychological nursing ability, the proportion of this part accounted for 6.8536% of the high-frequency words, accounted for 5.5899% of high-frequency words on social and family role and the importance in the psychological nursing, the proportion accounted for 4.7956% high-frequency words about nurse-patient relationship. From 2010 to 2012, in the better cluster grouping, the research related to nurse accounted for 5.5770%, accounted for 7.4208% on social and family role and the importance in the psychological nursing, nurse-patient relationship content accounted for 3.8313% and psychological nursing care of tumor patients accounted for 4.7359%. From 2013 to 2015, in the better cluster grouping, the research related to nurse accounted for 3.5729%, accounted for 8.7414% on social and family role and the importance in the psychological nursing, and psychological nursing care of tumor patients accounted for 4.4388%, and about mental illness the patient’s heart and care accounted for 5.5913%. From results on clinical psychological nursing research literature quantitative analysis of our country of Wanfang database we can see that, the amounts of related literatures issued from 2007 to 2015 are 27890. Over the years the amounts of literatures have obvious growing trend, in 2010 tend to be stable. From the literature and journal distribution we can see that, the ranking of the top 20 journals in nursing journals from 2007 to 2009 including the general nursing, Qilu Nursing Journal, Chinese Journal of modern nursing, nursing practice and research. From 2010 to 2012, Qilu Nursing Journal ranked 19th; from 2013 to 2015 the International Journal of nursing ranked 17, the rest is the medical and health journals. From hotspot research direction we can see that, based on the co-occurrence network graph of every period, from 2007 to 2009, the research hotspot key words are anxiety and depression, followed by the elderly patients, surgery, and health education; From 2010 to 2012, the research hotspot key words are : anxiety, depression, health education, perioperative period, maternal, breast cancer, and surgery; From 2010 to 2012, the research hotspot key words are : anxiety, depression, health education, effect, perioperative period, coronary heart disease, and quality of life. Conclusions: From bibliometric analysis results of clinical mental nursing researches, it can seen that the publication number of relevant literature in international and domestic is tended to be stable. From the perspective of the distribution of literature periodicals, our country have a few nursing periodicals, and we have not got more attention at specialist nursing periodicals. From the perspective of research hotspots, China has a scattered research hotspots which is focused on the patients in hospitals, and the nursing staff is the person who implement the mostly measures of mental nursing. Compared with foreign country, we have less research on mental illness nursing, and do not highlight the importance of community and family in the mental nursing which will gradually become the research hotspots of clinical mental nursing because the social is developing and people are increasingly concerned about health.
